During the first lesson of deciding to take on the task of the short film, we all as a group decided to generate some ideas in a brain storm style, just throwing any ideas that we have got into the mix.
We started thinking about the possible genres that we think would be achievable and effective on the audience.
After this we started to come up with other media pieces from which we gained inspiration from, for example "Moonlight".
We eventually narrowed our ideas into three separate short film ideas, each varying in difficulty. We thought that having multiple ideas would help us in the long run as is one was not achievable we could fall back onto the other two.
Whilst we were doing this, we decided which one of us would take on which ancillary tasks. Personally I am better at creating the poster as I have done it in the past therefore that is the role that I am taking.
